ABOUT US...

CMC² was created in 2003 when a small group of talented individuals grew tired of the way production houses were run and broke away. Seeking to make ideas the center of a new kind of media creation company, Ed Cheeney and a core group of professionals formed an organization that embodies a unique spirit of creativity, productivity, and fun. The company grew and flourished.

 

Once upon a time, we specialized in video. We're talking TV, real, high-end broadcast quality video. But we learned a long time ago that video was moving beyond tape and disc. And we moved with it to the Internet. We also moved beyond just video to creating video games and print and writing music and making cartoons...we do all that and more.

 

CMC². It stands for Cheeney Media Concepts². What's the ² for? Well, when you say it "CMC Squared," it sounds like E=MC². Of course, then you have to explain that the exponent's only there to make it funny, so it's really a double-edged sword, isn't it?

 

Our batcave is located in East Lansing, Michigan, but our clients range from smart government types in Washington D.C. to television corporations in Hollywood, California....and everywhere in between.
